When 24-year-old Dani Kerr walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage with her acoustic guitar, few expected the raw, gritty country-rock vocals that were about to echo through the theater.
Hailing from Statesville, North Carolina, Dani shared that she grew up listening to classic rock and Southern soulful music. Self-taught and deeply passionate about songwriting, she stepped onto the AGT stage nervous but determined to share her unique sound with the world.
However, her audition didn’t go as smoothly as planned at first:
