When 13-year-old Angelina Green took the stage, she brought an emotional story that instantly touched everyone in the room.
Walking out with her proud mother watching from the wings, Angelina shared how music became her ultimate sanctuary. After her parents went through a painful divorce, she turned to singing to process her grief and heal.
To show the world what music meant to her, she chose to perform a soulful rendition of The Pretenders’ classic hit, “I’ll Stand By You”.
From her very first note, the raw passion and vulnerability in her voice commanded the room. Her powerful performance moved the crowd to tears, culminating in a roaring standing ovation from the entire theater.
