His body is nearly completely covered in tattoos, and he has horn-shaped implants in his forehead in addition to the piercings.The most intriguing aspect, though, is that he was an ordinary office worker before getting his first piercing at the age of forty.
It’s difficult to think Rolf Buchholz was once a typical office worker when you look at him now.
Rolf, who was born in Dortmund, Germany, graduated from college with a degree in telecommunications and spent many years working for a large IT firm.
He was silent and nearly undetectable. However, he harbored a deeper need for independence, self-expression, and defying expectations.
After turning forty, he got his first tattoo. The first piercing followed. Next, the second. This was the start of a quest that would ultimately result in a world record.
Rolf currently has more than 560 piercings, including 278 in his private parts and more than 170 on his face.
His split tongue, horn-shaped subdermal implants in his forehead, and nearly completely tattooed torso all contribute to his attractive appeal.
He was named the “person with the most body modifications” by Guinness World Records as a result of all of this.
However, records and appearances are not the only things that matter to Rolf. According to him, bodily modification is an artistic expression of his independence. He claims that he didn’t change; rather, he just let the outside world see his true self.
Indeed, there is a clever, amiable, and humorous man hiding beneath the frightening exterior. He is quite personable, smiles frequently, and speaks quietly.
Reactions to his appearance are intense and polarizing. Some people admire him, while others are afraid or disgusted.
He claims that airport security believed he was a black magician, which is why he was even refused entry to Dubai in 2014 for “security reasons.”
