From an Elvis Obsession to Paving His Own Way
Growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, Drake lived a pretty traditional country lifestyle filled with hunting and fishing. However, a chance encounter at age seven changed his trajectory forever. While out to dinner with his family, he saw an Elvis Presley impersonator and became completely enthralled.

Rather than performing a safe, recognizable cover track, Drake and his band risked it all on a high-tempo, rock-infused original song titled “Sounds Like Something I Do”.
