A picture of a group of friends trekking in Chile has gone viral on the internet, and viewers are scared by the mysterious photobomber who sneaked into the shot, saying it caused them “goosebumps.”
When viewers noticed something odd, a photo of six friends trekking in the woods became popular online.
At first glance, the image seems to be just another funny picture of six individuals mingling and grinning broadly against a backdrop of lush greenery. It was taken in the Chilean wilderness and captured the fun and friendship of their journey.
However, a closer look at the image’s lower left corner reveals something surprising: a greenish face that isn’t any of the six friends’.
A seventh head appears out of the shadows, sending shivers down everyone’s spines.
Amateur investigators got to work attempting to determine what sort of evil was concealed in the image after it surfaced on Facebook.
“I don’t think it’s a good spirit. It is terrible. A netizen comments, “I wonder who this spirit is attached to,” on the Facebook post titled, “A friend of mine sent me this picture from his group of friends in Chile.”
“What a fantastic catch!” comments another online user. I wouldn’t have noticed it if you hadn’t zoomed in. It seems to be malicious.A third remarks, “I got chills from that.”
“Wow, that damn sneer made my hair stand up on the back of my neck,” a fourth person remarks.
Meanwhile, Reddit users were trying to figure out what was strange. Some stated they regretted zooming in, while others quipped that you would need “sniper-level vision” to spot the extra face.
“Why not at least say where to look?” one person writes. In search of a hint, another person adds, “The one time in all of history we actually needed a red circle, and we didn’t get it.”
“Thanks for the forever-nightmares!” comments another internet user. “Great photobomb from the forest demon,” says a third.
Another Redditor, who is really horrified by the greenish face, continues, “I am not exaggerating when I say that when I finally saw it, I got goosebumps and felt genuine fear.” What the f**k? I believe in ghosts again now.

Even though many individuals are positive that something otherworldly is occurring, others insist it’s just a clever scam.
“This is so false,” one adds, while another comments, “Creepy picture.”I will say, though, that it is fake.
To determine whether the image is edited, another Redditor writes, “It gave me chills, for sure.” Most of the time, I just laugh these things off or assume that the picture has been edited in a way that I can’t see, but not this time.
The user goes on to say, “Once you see it, you can’t try to make it look like something else, like parts of the girl’s hair or the guy’s jacket being cuffed up. There’s nothing else suitable. Something or someone clearly doesn’t belong there.
The story of the seventh face in this group photo is more than simply a strange coincidence; it’s a reminder that the ordinary may become extraordinary with a small shift in perspective. Whether it’s a ghost, a prank, or just artistic lighting, one thing is for sure: this image will have people talking for a while.
